My vision

To me, loss and stressful events are natural phenomena that are part of life. However, in our busy society, we have little space, time, and support to recover from them. It is my intention to create a space where your experience of loss and tension is welcome, and to normalize grief and stress recovery.

For me, loss is very broad; a loved one (person or animal) dying, a friendship changing, moving house, health problems, a dream falling apart, experiencing unfulfilled needs, losing touch with aspects of yourself ... As human beings, we have the capacity to grieve in a way that integrates both joy and sorrow into life. Grief gives us the opportunity to approach life differently, allowing sadness, zest for life, and gratitude to coexist simultaneously.

The key to sustainable recovery from (chronic) stress lies in involving our bodies. The body has a natural ability to release deep tension. It is with great passion that I teach people to experience how they can use this natural ability to release tension and find inner peace again.

Welcome.

“Grief is subversive, undermining the quiet agreement to behave and be in control of our emotions. It is an act of protest that declares our refusal to live numb and small. There is something feral about grief, something essentially outside the ordained and sanctioned behaviors of our culture. Because of that, grief is necessary to the vitality of the soul. Contrary to our fears, grief is suffused with life-force....
